The Inrax OLAP report allows detailed analysis of sales which goes well beyond that available in most SME accounting packages. It is probably easier to give examples of questions the OLAP report can answer, than explain its workings in detail.
What have been my top 30 most profitable products this year?
Which counties or post towns are my sales coming from?
If we just look at my group of retail customers, who is buying the most? Who is the most profitable?
If we just look at my group of retail customers, who is the least profitable? Does this suggest a minimum order size is necessary?
Which days of the week are best for sales?
Based on historic sales which stock lines have the best combination of margin and stock turn? Which have the worst?
Which customers make repeat orders?
